Succulents were nicknamed Fat Plants by plant enthusiasts because of their ability to store water, resulting in swollen leaves and stems. I added the word Farm to honour the propagation trays of baby succulent plants that began taking over my house!
What is a succulent?
A succulent is an umbrella term encompassing plants that have the ability to store water in their leaves, stems and roots.
Do you only sell succulent-type plants?
The majority of plants potted in our concrete planters are succulents. We do also carry air plants and occasionally bring in specific types of plants that tolerate low light as not all customers have the required amounts of sun needed to grow succulents.
Do you have a storefront?
Yes! We just recently moved out of our garage and into a studio space located at 1817 McAra Street. Part of the week is dedicated to production of our concrete planters, the other part allows us to open up our studio to the public. Our shop hours change weekly. Please visit our google listing for updated hours as well as our facebook about page and instagram.
Can I place a custom order?
Yes you can! Concrete casting days occur on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Order’s placed later in the week will be casted at the beginning of the following week. Please allow between 1.5-2 weeks for completion.
Unfortunately, not at this time. We haven’t been able to figure out a way to safely ship succulents that we can guarantee they’ll be happy, living succers when they get to you. The weight of concrete planters also makes shipping quite costly.
